The Travel Mat is Jade’s lightest mat, and–at 24-by-68-by-1/8 inches - is easily transportable and great for those who like closer contact with the ground. As Jade mats are made with open cell, natural rubber, you can say goodbye to slipping on your practice mat, even if it gets wet with perspiration. Natural rubber’s superior slip resistance properties ensure a solid grip every time, and additionally provide resilience, compression set resistance and cushioning, resulting in a solid blend of comfort and performance.
The natural rubber used to create Jade mats is a renewable resource containing no PVC or ozone depleting substances, and the mats are made in the U.S.A. in compliance with all U.S. environmental and labor laws. Jade believes in being good to your body and good to the Earth, and–through a partnership with Trees for the Future–when you buy a mat, Jade plants a tree.
Yoga Mat Review

Jade makes premium mats, which are of very high quality. This mat is no exception. It is made from natural rubber, which makes it practically non-slip. This travel mat has an open cell design, which aids in absorption of moisture. The reason it is so moderately priced is because it is thinner than a regular Jade Mat. 1/8″ should be enough for most people, but some may find it uncomfortable. On the other hand, it is light enough for travel. This mat should last about 2-3 years of regular practice.

This is my second Jade Yoga Mat, and I’m still generally very happy with the mat! The mat has the best traction of those I’ve tried, and is nice and dense providing firm support. Since it’s made of rubber, there is a slight scent, but even with a strong sense of smell, this has never bothered me. The mat’s life span was about two and a half years with moderate use (2-3) yoga practices per week.
