This is a very decent yoga matmade of foam instead of PVC as most inexpensive mats. The advantages of foam include light weight, better friction, higher durability. This is a nice mat suitable for pilates as well as beginner to intermediate yoga sessions.

This mat is a nice level of thickness and is great to exercise on. I am now using it to go under a bicycle on a trainer. This serves the purpose of absorbing sweat, but even more importantly noise. Not the original purpose, but it works very well at it.

Overall I’m very happy with this purchase.
It works well for my needs, for floor exercises and also my children use it to practice gymnastics.
The foam is pretty thick and cushions well, it is easy to store thanks to the attached fasteners.
Great buy for the 10bucks I paid.

I needed one for home and this one did the trick. Its about 1/2 inch thick and is very similar to the exercise mats at the gym at my work. Works great.

Before I bought this mat I would stretch and workout on the carpet. I am so glad I bought this mat!! It makes such a difference. Very comfortable and well worth it!

I know some people complained that the mat had a really strong odor and yes it does, but if you let it air out for a couple of days the smell goes away. The mat is great and for the price an excellant value. I am 6’4 and I have pleanty of room on this mat and really good cushion.

I love this mat! Other reviewers mentioned a strong chemical smell. I noticed this….but it does go away little by little with use and will not keep me from using it.

I ordered this mat a couple of weeks ago and just received it today. I enjoyed it very much. It gave me a lot of cushion on my back when I’m doing my ab. exercises. It’s a wonderful product for the price. I really love it.

The mat had a distinct smell, but it is getting better since I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks. The only con is that it keeps gettng rolled up at the end, but besides that, it is a great product

Bought this for when I can’t make it to the gym. After looking around at different mats and reading reviews like, “this one is too thin,” and “this one is too short,” I settled on this and it’s perfect. People complain about the end curling up but it doesn’t affect anything you do on the mat – either you are tall enough to have your head or feet weighing the curled part down so it’s flat, or you are short enough that you don’t even reach it. I’m 6’2″ and this mat is actually long enough for me (something I couldn’t even find at the gym). Definitely recommended.

This is very soft mat and offers lots of padded support for you exercise. The mat curles a tad at the ends yet this can be worked out. Good product!

I read a review of this mat that said that it was bad for jumping rope, among other idiot uses, and gave it only 3 stars. Wtf?
It’s an excersise mat. For lieing down and doing excercises. The description could not be more simple. But, I’ll review it in case others are confused (either by the product or by the other ppl’s reviews).
The material that it’s made of could not be better for an excercise mat. The mat is about and inch thick. It’s made out of like a kind of synthetic-rubbery material. The material is such that it’s equally supportive of your contours and firm enough where you’ll avoid the distraction of whatever surface is underneath the mat.
The mat is a little bit bouncy. Not bouncy enough to jump rope off of it! But just enough to give you an extra push to do 4 or 5 more sit ups.
The corners do roll up a little bit but the length is long enough (just over 6 ft.) to not need the whole amount anyway.

This mat does not have a stench described in other comments about workout mats and is a very nice mat. I really like this mat, it works great. It is really soft and very long and it does not move when working on it. I love this mat!

This mat is perfect for what I ordered it for: a cushion on which to do my strength training exercises. It has a nice thickness and the attached straps encourage me to roll it up after use, rather than leaving it on the floor. The ends are slightly curled due to rolling, but if you just face those ends down on the floor, it doesn’t make a difference at all. Overall, a great product and well worth the money.

Boy was I happy to feel this product. It is plush and sturdy. It makes me hope that I can push out that extra ab crunch because the mat feels so good. Long too, just like me. Get it.

I have absolutely no complaints about this mat. It does what a mat is supposed to do. It is easy to store, the price is ridiculously low and it is easy to pack and carry. I have been using this one almost on a daily basis for about six months now and so far it has held up well. Even if it should self destruct tomorrow, I still got my monies worth out of the thing. If and when I need another, I will quite likely get another of these.

This mat is great for doing crunches on a very hard floor because it is thick. It is not made to do cardio on – in my opinion, but for isometric exercises it is great! The one edge doesn’t roll all the way down, but I just flip the mat over and use the other side and it flattens it enough for me. I love that it is easy to store because it rolls up and has velcro.

This mat is precisely what I needed when I went looking for a mat. It does have a slight smell to it, but that’s a common issue with all mats I’ve discovered. A quick airing out, and it was good to go.

This is exactly what I was looking for — an inexpensive, easy-to-carry mat that gives me some padding while doing sit ups or other excercises on the floor. I’m very pleased with it. The one negative is that it doesn’t lay completely flat when I roll it out, but I use a couple of hand weights to hold down the curly end. It rolls up very small to store in the hall closet. It seems to be sturdily made to last through a lot of sit ups.
